Do you ever wonder how an old and wise nation like France can have riots that last for over 2 months, when every night protestors and rioters use Molotov Cocktails thru car windows to torch them? How can a country say they are stable with rioters protesting and rioting for over two months, burning down some buildings and torching all the cars? Well the answer might surprise you.

There is an abundance of hydrogen on our planet. Many can not wait until we see hydrogen refilling stations on every corner. To be able to use the fuel cell concept in vehicles as a power source it needs to be pure hydrogen. Pure hydrogen does not happen naturally, it must be harvested by employing a chemical or electrical process. At the moment the most inexpensive way to yield hydrogen is ‘last “steam methane reformation”. Another concept undergoing research and development is a procedure involving solar energy. Fuel companies can save ten percent if they use the environmentally safe solar energy to remove the hydrogen.

Many actually believe that the United States of America will die on the vine without oil and that if the oil prices continue to climb that we will all go broke because we cannot buy fuel for our cars and all the cars will stop? Don’t we wish; as it might help eliminate some traffic on the road if everyone cut back a little? Unfortunately some radical and fanatical regimes like the leadership of Iran believe that they can defeat America by slowing OPEC output.

The United States of America is stepping up to the challenge to reduce America’s dependency and addiction to Middle Eastern oil. We’re looking ahead towards the future and spending the necessary funds in research and development at our top universities and private sector research and development companies. The Department of Energy has been an extreme help in giving the nation to the point that very soon we will not be dependent on putting gasoline and diesel fuel into our cars, SUVs and trucks.

We all know that the United States of America is addicted to foreign oil. Gasoline and diesel are the fuels that drive us around both literally and figuratively; without fuel the transportation and distribution that America needs to survive would not exist. Currently the U.S. automakers are working to build over 4 million ethanol enabled Flex fuel cars in the next year alone. This is a very good start to breaking the United States addiction to oil.

A carburetor is a device witch mixes air and fuel in a combustion engine. Carburetors are still found in older cars. Today the carburetor is outdated and most cars made after 1990 uses an electronically controlled fuel injection device instead, it is however easy to know if your car has a carburetor, if you have a choke on your car it almost certainly is carbureted and not injection. What the choke does is change the proportions of which air and fuel are mixed, thus allowing the car to start more easily when it is cold. It is also important to notice that motorcycles usually uses carburetors. Carburettors are slightly lighter, but this is changing as the technology grows.
